Heading to town to grow farm wealth

Plenty of farmers may be studiously ignoring their looming retirement and the major changes it will bring, both personally and professionally. It can be hard leaving something a lifetime’s work has been invested into, but looking down the road to town at some urban based investments it is possible to see how commercial property can prove a lucrative first step to dealing with those big issues of succession and retirement. But the flexibility of such investments means leaving the farm does not always have to become a necessity in order to enjoy the returns they can deliver.
